D6 – Comoros
7Q6M (K6ZO), Don Jones, departed Embangweni, Malawi with an overnight stay in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania expecting to fly to the Comoros Island today. He is returning to his first DXpedition (D68GA) QTH, when he was a teenage some 40 plus years ago. Plans are to operate this time as D60AB for one week before joining the 7Q7WW team for the CQ WW DX CW Contest. Don made it to his hotel on the East Central Coast of Comoro Island, southwest of the capital Maroni. He has a clear shot with nothing but saltwater to Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East. Don will be returning to DC on December 5th.
