Late yesterday veteran DXpeditioner LA7GIA, Ken, announced he will be QRV today, hopefully after 1100Z, as JX7GIA.
The limited operation today will be on CW only. He said "single band" but did not mention which band.
(Editor's note: Ken has already started up on 20 CW just prior to 1100Z).
There has not been any legitimate JX activity since 2014.JX currently ranks number 20 world-wide on CW. Ken will be using his Elecraft K3, Juma 1 KW amplifier and "African dipoles". Logs will be posted to the "Free LoTW" and you can QSL to his home call for traditional paper QSLs.
