Hej
TI9 – Cocos Island
Two operations are slated for the present timeframe, TI9C by XE1B and HK5OKY,
this one supposedly going to February 9, on 160, 80, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10 and 6 SSB and FT8,
two high power stations. So far no sign of them on the air. They had planned to be on:
SSB, 1850, 3790, 7065, 7165, 14195, 18140, 21295, 24940, 28475, 50140.
FT8, 1840, 3573, 7074, 14074, 18100, 21074, 24915, 28074, 50313.
QSL direct to XE1B with 5 USD and an SAE, or OQRS with 10 USD,
or LoTW on a six-month delay, no bureau. More details are on QRZ.com.
And the second TI9 operation, TI9A, with operators TI2JV, RA9USU, SM6LRR and UA3AB.
They plan 160-10 activity, CW, SSB and “possibly” FT8, three stations.
Their setup is in two camps with eight stations and 20 antennas.
QSL through OQRS or LoTW or via UA3DX. http://ti9a.info.
